Introduction
Welcome to Track Meet ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to
protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This
Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard
your information when you use our mobile application and website
(collectively, the "Service").
By using Track Meet, you agree to the collection and use of
information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree,
please discontinue use of the Service.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:
-
Account information: Name, email address, and
password when you register.

genre preferences.
-
Audio content: Music tracks you upload (MP3/WAV
files) and associated metadata such as title, genre, and cover art.
-
Payment information: Transaction data processed
through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers — Stripe handles
all payment data under PCI-DSS compliance.
-
Device information: Device type, operating system
version, and app version collected for diagnostics and
compatibility.
-
Usage data: Features you use, tracks you play, and
artists you interact with, to improve your experience.
-
Camera and media: With your explicit permission, we
access your camera and photo library solely for profile photos and
cover art uploads.

Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only
with:
-
Firebase (Google): Our backend infrastructure
provider for authentication, database storage, and file storage.
-
Stripe: Payment processing for all fan-to-artist
transactions. Subject to
Stripe's Privacy Policy.
-
Other users: Artist profile information — name,
bio, genre, and uploaded tracks — is publicly visible to fans on the
platform by design.
-
Legal authorities: Where required by applicable
law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Camera and Media Access
Track Meet requests access to your device camera and photo library for
the following purposes only:
- Uploading a profile photo for your artist or fan account
- Adding cover art to an uploaded music track
We do not use your camera to capture images without your knowledge.
Images and photos are only uploaded when you explicitly select and
confirm them. You may revoke camera and media permissions at any
time through your device settings without losing access to other app
features.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or
as needed to provide the Service. Upon account deletion:
-
Your account credentials and profile data are removed within 7 days
- Uploaded audio tracks are removed within 30 days
-
Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and
financial compliance
To request deletion of your account and data, contact us at
support@trackmeet.app.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your
information:
-
All data transmitted between your device and our servers uses
HTTPS/TLS encryption
-
Firebase Security Rules restrict data access to authorised users
only
-
Passwords are never stored in plain text — Firebase Auth handles
secure credential management
-
Stripe's PCI-DSS Level 1 certified infrastructure handles all
payment data
Despite these measures, no method of electronic storage or
transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy

knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we
become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal
